Free Internet and No People in Nuremburg...

...have enabled me to finally get this thing going. I intended to set up a blog, or at least a group email list, before I left Canada but alas, the true superiority of my procrastination ability was exhibited once again.

At the moment I am sitting in my very empty hostel in Nuremburg, hungry (because I forgot everything closes on Sundays here and I am in the middle of a bout of timidness preventing me from braving a restaurant alone in German) but happy because the lack of people and the free internet is allowing my to indulge my internet nerdyness to the unexplored wilderness of internet nerdyness.

Right. I am in Germany, and for those of you who were not informed of this journey, have been for ten days. I'll post soon with a summary of what I've been up to so far. And I'm going to try to change the layout because this is ugly. Just email me if you don't want these updates cluttering up your inbox.

Have a lovely day. I miss the ocean and everyone that lives near it. And those of you that don't live near it as well.
